Walking Worthy

May these pages portray our desire to have "a walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God." Colossians 1:10

Spring in November

Well, Fall has come upon us...
Canadian thanksgiving was in October and our family here enjoyed the time together! We went up to visit our brother Dave in Edmonton. As a birthday gift to his mother, he sent her down the zip line at the camp where he was working! (Steve went down too, with his video camera of course!)

Now that it is November, and Thanksgiving week in the States, here are some things for which we are so very Thankful...

...the sunshine and crisp air that has everyone confused as to what season it is! (it was so strange, the snow came, and went and hasn't showed up since!)

...our "little girl," Buttons and how soft and affectionate she is all day as my companion. She is especially cute when she meows like a tiger and races across the room and up her scratching post with astounding zest!

...safe travel for Steven to work every weekday ... and for us as we travel to Calgary now and then!

...my permament residence in Canada now being offical and documented!

...my car being insured and registered (I am now an Alberta driver!).

...our baby being healthy as he grows in my womb. (I am due in mid-May! I think he is a boy, but I may be wrong! We have another ultrasound scheduled in December.)

...God's unexpected and joyful provision, right when we need it!

...four "new" doors for Steven's 1989 Pontiac Bonneville! We harvested them from a 1987 Bonneville at the auto-wreckers! His orginal doors had all seized and were very tempermental.

...that God KNOWS our past, present and future and will never cease to guide us as we follow Him!

Something to Pray about...
We found out that I have a cyst crowding my womb. It is probably not dangerous, but I am having it checked out at a fetal medicine clinic in Calgary this week! Pray that I am safe on the road and that baby is okay in the end.

In peace,
Patti and Steve
