California Days

I've been home in Ventura, California now since December 19th!
Whew! How the days have flown. (I leave to return to Idaho on Saturday the 8th of January.)
Let me give a summary of what these last few weeks have held!

Visiting Friends
After arriving in California, I learned that my girlfriend from Lousiana was in town visiting!
We stopped by (before even going home) to see her!
In the following days I took Steven to meet several other friends of mine, some who have known me many years!

Family Times
Steven and I have spent many hours with the family, singing carols, celebrating Christmas and my mom's birthday, attending church, watching movies, going out to eat, going for walks and road trips and finishing work on a family rental house in town. Steven also spent much one on one time with my Father. (and me of course!) :)

And of course...the latest
Jan. 1, 2005
Steven and I go for a drive to church overlooking a California's lake Castaic. I accept Steven's proposal of marriage. He places a ring on my finger, and thus begins the New year. (We are not sure when the wedding will take place - we are looking for a fall date perhaps, it all depends)

(more info is to come!!)

with PRAISES!!
  • Steven in my life. What a blessing!
  • A lovely week of sunshine here! And now the refreshing rain!
  • Safe travel
  • Peaceful times with family!
with PRAYER!!
  • Figuring out details of arranging a marriage "across the border" (Steven is Canadian)
  • Focus and diligence when returning to Idaho to continue work with GoodSeed, USA.
  • Continual growth in Christ and patience with myself!!
That's all for now!
Blessings to you in the love of Christ, the Savior of the World.
