Destination: Grobina, Latvia... !! I'm leaving this Sunday night, June 27th !!

I'm almost all prepared for this English teaching/evangelism trip.
I'll be a part of teaching and ministry team in Grobina, Latvia for a week of training and two weeks of classes. After that I will stay an extra week and tutor students.

It promises to be a very amazing time of fellowship with missionary friends, encouraging the Latvian Church, expanding my teaching skills and enjoying another part of God's world.
I am also excited to see how God will use this trip to prepare me for future work with Goodseed International!

PRAISES!

God is faithfully, steadily, providing all my financial needs for the trip and bringing people alongside me to pray for me, which is even greater!

God has given me good times of fellowship with my Christian and non-Christian friends here in Ventura!

God has protected me on the road and been so faithful in teaching me new things, revealing my heart to me.

God is so good in nurturing my relationships with others and filling my life with love! He surely deserves all praise and Glory for the work He has done in my life and the way He has guided me into these paths I delight to tread.

Latest news...

Trip to Detroit and Iowa
It was tremendous to be with many of my college friends for the weekend of June 5th. My friend Annie and I were able to have a part in the wedding ceremony of our dear friend Stephanie and spend time together as well!
After the weekend had ended, I flew down to visit my sister Deb in Iowa for a few days. It was good to see the small town where she and her husband are pastoring.

Just TWO WEEKS...
till I leave for Latvia. I still have many details to work through in preparing myself to teach the curriculum we are using but I know that God is faithful to strengthen me in all things. PRAISE!! God is faithfully providing the funding I need for this trip!

Faith challenges
God has been teaching me some hard lessons lately...really challenging me. It is always difficult to work through these sorts of times of uncertainty! Thank you for any prayers you have offered on my behalf.
